English Common Law
Some say that the Common Law is the unwritten law. Actually that is not true but it has not been codified like statutes are. Essentially common law says you can do anything as long as you do not injure someone elses person or their property. In England the common law consists of 800 years of jury trial decisions.
Sir William Blackstone
Sir William Blackstone lived in the mid eighteenth century (1700's). He was an english jurist (judge) who wrote a 4 volume set of books called Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England. In the first volume he explains that all law has to be in conformance with the Bible, and that any law that is not in conformance with the Bible is of no force and effect. He called it; "the law of nature and natures God". The law of nature says that if you drop a rock, it will fall, and the law of nature's God is found in the Bible. This phrase was taken by Jefferson and used in the US Declaration of Independence (1776).
Common Law Elsewhere
In addition to English Common Law, there is a European Common Law, and every country in Europe has its own common law. There is a common law of Russia. Sir Edward Coke (circa 1500's) wrote in his Commentaries on Littleton that the Magna Carta affirmed certain elements of the common law in England.
The first 10 amendments to the US Constitution are re-affirmations of some common law rights.
Common law says that "We the People" create the government, and delegate some authority to that government because it is more efficient for the government to do certain things, than we ourselves. The ONLY legitimate authority that the government has is for protection. The government is supposed to protect us from foreign enemies (army, navy, air force), and also from each other (courts, murder, assault, theft etc.), and the government is there to administer disputes among us (lawsuits).
The Theory of Government
Think of it this way,....God created "We the people", and then "We the People" created the govenment, and then the government created corporations. We have no right to tell God what to do, just like the government has no right to say anything to "the people", just like corporations have no right to tell the government anything. The government knows this but because of our own ignorance, we have created a 15 USC § 44 unincorporated corporation, and the government is confused. A corporation is a piece of property (slave) and if we don't want to be a slave, then we better get the government straightened out! The burden is completely on us!
Historically, what happens in this kind of circumstance the government becomes more and more tyrranical until there is a violent revolution. That is not good for anybody, except our enemies, who are orchestrating all of this. It doesn't take very many people who know and understand the law to get things under control. It was 3% to 5% of the people who started the American revolution. We can reign them in because we have the law on our side.
